Preston Zollner (Michigan State University)
Preston is majoring in Horticultural Science. He has a passion for water and fruit. He is planning to intern in Pasco, WA with Ewing Irrigation to design irrigation systems for tree fruit operations and vineyards, along with being a consultant for growers. His goal is to operate his own vineyard and possibly open a winery.
Kristen Andresen (Michigan State University)
Kristen is majoring in Horticulture in the Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Biotechnology Program. Her MS research is focused on improving the understanding of the genetic control of resistance and tolerance to the fungal disease Cherry Leaf Spot. Her aspirations are to have a career where she can have a positive impact on agricultural industries and growers. She hopes to work for a vegetable seed company in a position where she can be involved with breeding and variety evaluation
