2016 Tatter Scholarship Recipients
Undergraduate
Rock Klenk (Michigan State University)
Rock will graduate in the Spring of 2017 with a degree in Horticulture. He has worked on the family farm and for Crop Production Services (CPS). He is especially interested in the area of pest management. After graduation, he plans to continue his work on the family farm and at CPS.
Graduate
Heather Leach (Michigan State University)
Heather will graduate in the Spring of 2017 with a masters degree in Entomology. She has a wide variety of work including at MSU's Northwest Michigan Horticultural Research Center, Shoreline Fruit, and USDA Farm Service Agency. Heather is passionate about extension and hopes to stay in Michigan to help growers improve strategies for pest management and fruit production.
